About the Company:

Our client, a leading global taste and nutrition manufacturing company, is looking to hire a Key Account Manager.

Job Overview:

As a Key Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive business growth and revenue. You will serve as the main point of contact between the company and its key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Manage key customer relationships and negotiate customer agreements that deliver against base and new business margin targets.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and implement account-specific strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products or services and how they align with client needs.
  • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling client’s products/services to key accounts.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with key clients, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and compliant with company policies.
  • Account Planning: Create account plans to map out long-term growth strategies and maintain account profiles with updated information.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on account performance and sales activities to the management team.
  • Market Analysis: Analyse business trends to develop a business growth strategy and manage the total opportunity pipeline.
  • Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic plan to optimise the use of client Secure agreements and execute pricing plans.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • 7 to 10 years experience in a commercial environment within the Food & Flavours / Ingredients industry
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
