Role Summary

The Senior Project Manager (Interior Design and wood products fit outs) will oversee multiple, concurrent projects from post-sale through final installation. We require a hands-on leader who is deeply familiar with Interior Design and wood products fit outs industry rates, material pricing, and subcontractor management. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in team leadership, budget oversight, and KPI-based reporting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Oversight
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
    • Develop and maintain robust project timelines, including design, production, delivery, and installation phases.
  1. Reporting & KPI Management
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing project milestones, budget adherence, and progress against KPIs.
    • Provide clear executive summaries to inform senior management of both successes and risks.
  1. Budget & Resource Management
    • Supervise procurement and labor allocations, applying strong knowledge of Interior Design and wood products fit outs materials and subcontractor rates.
    • Track and report on cost variances, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and corrective actions when necessary.
  1. Leadership & Conflict Resolution
    • Directly manage cross-functional teams (designers, production staff, installers), ensuring accountability, motivation, and conflict resolution.
    • Maintain high performance standards and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
  1. Construction (Interior Design and wood products fit outs) Industry Expertise
    • Navigate supplier relationships, market pricing, and subcontractor negotiations confidently.
    • Ensure adherence to relevant construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
  1. Continuous Improvement
    • Drive process enhancements for improved project outcomes, focusing on better reporting, risk management, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years in Project Management within Interior Design and wood products fit outs industries.
  • Degree in Project Management at a minimum.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently, from design phase to final handover.
  • Strong reporting skills: capable of producing KPI dashboards, budget variance analyses, and strategic updates for senior management.
  • Managerial expertise: history of mentoring teams, implementing best practices, and effectively resolving conflicts.
  • Technical proficiency: familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com) and office tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Excellent communication: clear and concise communicator with experience in stakeholder management and client-facing interactions.
